The Rag Man Project Writing Contest officially begins at 12:01am Eastern Standard Time (EST) on June 1st, 2010, and ends at 11:59pm EST on September 1st, 2010. Learn more about the contest below.

the CHALLENGE

Submit an inspirational piece of writing that captures your take on the moral of Ballad of the Rag Man. Your submission can be in any form: an essay, a testimonial or even a poem. You can relate it to Ballad of the Rag Man in a wide variety of ways by writing about: how you’ve changed your attitude to people you previously considered “odd” or “scary;” how you are simply excited by the message of Ballad of the Rag Man and you want to share that excitement; how you’ve felt like an “outsider” in the past; or even about how you or someone you know has reached out to those who are “different” in the community.

Your submission can be serious or funny – it’s all up to you! Just get creative, and share your creativity by submitting your writing for the Rag Man Project Writing Contest.
